SINGLE SLOT NOTCHING

There are not too many types of slots on the stator or Rotor Lamination, and each slot needs a specific tool to stamp. But it is worth mentioning that is the overall cost of the tool is very low. 

The outer diameter of the largest punching sheet we produce is as high as 1250mm so far, this is the largest width of silicon steel coil.  The slots of the Stator Core or Rotor Core need to be designed to be skewed, on the purpose of  offsetting the tooth harmonics at the time of motor's operation, the manufacturers of large size motors must like the craft of rotary notching.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The production batch of high-speed automatic punching machines is generally more than 2,000 units, and it is required to use coiled electrical steel plates, and the molds must also have a high service life. Only when these three conditions are met, can the high-speed automatic punching machine show its superiority.

The tool cuts one slot on the round sheet at one time while Single Notching, that is to say the total number of cuts is equal to the number of slots on the lamination. Our CNC single notching presses are possessed high precision positioning system and indexer, this enable it to control every action of the machine, so we can produce special laminations.

APPLICATION & COST

The tool cost of single notching is very low, so it is very fit for low-to-medium volume production and prototype development.  Although it's production speed is slow,  the time to produce a lamination varies from a few seconds to tens of seconds, our many CNC presses are equipped with automated production systems. These devices can greatly reduce production costs while ensuring production speed.
